Source notes
Contextual source review of the recurring Excelsior Systems subject; book-specific observations and uncertainty remain separate.
destroyer-096:xl-syscorp: The narrative explicitly says Excelsior Systems was renamed XL SysCorp. This is corporate continuity, not merely a similar name or identity of physical premises. Lead inspected these bounded primary contexts; this is an identity decision, not a third full reading.
