NKVD

Contextual source review of the recurring NKVD subject; book-specific observations and uncertainty remain separate.

destroyer-030:b30-nkvd: Lead compared identifying primary passages and reviewed roles for NKVD: Source-named Soviet secret police service employing Spesk and Nathan; designation is retained as the novel uses it. This is compatible with the existing destroyer-017-b17-nkvd subject (Soviet security organization mentioned in Valashnikov’s intelligence career.). The source’s own labels, narrative/mention/paratext scope, attributed statements and uncertainty remain in its observation; this decision does not assert real-world accuracy of fictional acts.
